Lost in Translation - NYTimes: Rafael Moneo



In cinematic terms, if Renzo Piano, Gehry and Meier are the reigning Spielbergs of contemporary architecture, producing successful (or almost as successful) versions of an initial winning formula over and over, Rafael Moneo might be its Mike Leigh: highly talented and critically revered, but in the age of the star architect, in the United States, at least, we barely know his name.
